The way we look at things

In "dadbod" essay it talks about how people have taken this "dadbod" thing so proudly when actually its not something you should be proud at. It just means that now you are in a group of people who are not shaped, they drink a lot on weekends, etc, etc.
In the second essay, what i got from that one is that beauty and innocence are more important than being hot. Which I personally agree on, to me being "hot" is not something important because its not going to last forever. Beauty of person's heart is what means more than her being hot and innocence is type of jewelry which makes a woman more attractive.
In the last one it talks about how google is biased in some matters. I personally don't think google should have any right to be biased, it doesn't matter if it is right or wrong. What basically I am trying to say is that if something is right to me, it may not be right to other people. Maybe for google , for half of this world including me, that the guy which they used as example deserves being compare to poop but for some people its wrong. So basically as being a search engine it shouldn't be biased, but it is biased.
I think in all three of these essay it is trying to say everything can be looked in different way, it just depends on us how we look at it.

  1. I really enjoyed reading your post. I completely understand how “Dadbod” can be considered an issue and promoting just one of the many ways of living that are promoted in the media. Also I enjoyed your opinion on women and innocence. I was happy that you stated that you thought innocence was more attractive, I just wanted to make a call on the article. I think many women have the right to express themselves in different ways and I think Archbold is pressing her opinion a bit hard when she says innocence is beautiful and hotness is ugly. Personally I think innocence could be related to ignorance and or naivety. Women have being trying to be seen with more respect in many ways and by creating this naïve prettiness in women, creates just another strain on the woman psyche. Also, saying men mistreat women because they are viewed or views themselves as hot is a little skewed. Men will express themselves the way that they want to in most situations. Archbold claims that prettier women were treated better in the past, but honest they were just treated with a different type of oppression. I did really like the post, I just had that one thing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
